   Most people don’t know that diabetes is the seventh leading cause of death in the United States. If you are diabetic you are 2-4 times more likely to die of heart disease, compared to someone who is not a diabetic.

   Diabetes is cause due the absence of insulin production or the inability of the cells to absorb and use  the insulin that is produced. This condition is known as ” insulin resistence”.

   Diabetes was thought to be mainly hereditary, but if that was true the number of diabetics all over the world would remain steady throughtout the decades. Unfortunately, in the last few years there is an alarming increase in the number of people. Hogher body weight, bad eating habits and the absence of exercise are the main cause for this phenomenon.

Here are a few tips for curing Diabetes:

1- Start a exercise program,  ( regular)

2- Eat more whole grain

3- Avoid food and beverages that contain added sugars

4- Stay away from Trans fatty acids and non-fat dairy

5- Avoid alcohol, because it’s a toxic to the nerves

6- Don’t eat to many carb at one time

7- Drink plenty of Water

8- Reduce your Cholesterol levels

9- Reduce your Triglyceride levels

10- Read labels to watch how much sugar in the food

11- Count total grams of Carbohydrate

12- Take a Magnesium supplement

13- Eat 3 small meals and 3 snacks everyday

14- Limit you sodium intake to less than 2,300mg daily

15- You need to Exercise at least 3-4 hours a week
