   While not all the factors are understood scientifically it is being proved time and again that be eating raw foods you may be able to actually prevent and control your diabetes better. Adding fruits, vegetables and smoothies to your daily diet can help you do this in an easy and non invasive way.

   Eating more salads instead of snacks is also good way to ensure that you are eating healthy raw foods rather than articially processed foods with a number of chemical preservatives. Getting you more nutrients in the process as well, making the body need less artifical vitamin and mineral supplements.

   In a documentary called “Raw Foods for 30 days” a set of six people actually went on a only raw food diet for 30 days. All of them were diabetic. The video followed their healthy eating habits and the changes in their blood sugar levels over the period of the month.

   Strange to say, every single one of them experienced a reversal of the severity of their diabetics. It even disappeared for a couple of them altogether. Eating just raw foods like they did may not be a practical consideration in all our lives, but we can surely increase the amount of raw food we eat!!!
