When you exercise, your body releases a hormone called serotonin. It is a hormone that controls your mood and the lack of it can cause depression. A regular exercise can maintain a healthy level of this hormone and thus significantly make your mood lighter. Exercise also makes you feel younger, healthier, and it can make you look better. This adds up to your confidence and self-esteem.
Exercise Can Boost Your Energy:
A lot of people think that exercise is tiring because they relate it to weight lifting. Well, weight lifting and intense exercises can be truly tiring. However, basic aerobic exercises can actually provide you more energy in the long ran because it trains your body to get used to physical activities. On top of that, regular exercise improves the flow of oxygen to the blood and tissues and this strengthen your body, improves your blood flow, and improves oxygen intake all throughout the circulatory system, especially your brain. Your heart is also trained to pump at faster rates and cope with the strenuous activity that you will soon find yourself taking thins in stride.
Exercise Can Boost Weight Loss:
Every movement requires fuel or energy. As you exercise, your body burns fuel faster than it would have if you are just sedentary. This does not mean you have to enroll in a gym or start lifting those weight. You can do simple things like walking a few hundred meters instead of taking the car, walking the flight of stairs instead of taking the elevator, or doing simple jumping jacks while watching the television. You can also dance or shadow box for a few minutes. While at the office, stand and stretch for a few minutes and you will see how it can boost your stain and energy for the day.
