The additional benefit of the use of garlic and onions has a beneficial cardiovascular effect. They are found to lower lipid levels, inhibit platelet aggregation and are anti-hypertensive.

   Bitter gourd is a vegetable found in the Indian Sub Continent and its juice is found to have positive effects on elevated blood sugar levels in the body. Lutien is a dietary supplement  which contributes to eye health in general. It is found in yellow and orange fruits and is also present in dark leafy vegetables.
